Privacy Policy

Danocado stores your learning history, settings, and cached Game Center friend progress on your device. There is no Danocado account or developer-operated learning server. We do not include advertising or tracking, and anonymous usage statistics are off unless you turn them on.

Off unless you choose to share. If you agree in the one-time notice or turn on Anonymous usage stats in Settings, the app sends anonymous product events to PostHog (EU Cloud, PostHog Inc.), which processes them for us: screens opened, study session type, rough card-count, duration and hint-free ranges, which settings are on or off, the active bundled deck, app version, iOS version, device type, display language, and a random ID created on this device. It never sends what you type, your answers, the words you study, your name, email, advertising ID or location, and it does not build a profile of you. IP-based location is disabled and the developer does not use it. Events are used only to decide what to improve and are kept for up to 12 months. Turning the setting off stops sending immediately and deletes the random ID from your device; events already sent cannot be linked back to you, so they are removed only when their retention ends.

If you enable iCloud backup, your learning record is copied to your own iCloud storage and merged across devices. The developer cannot access this storage. Turning backup off stops future app backups; it does not delete existing copies. Files you export are shared only with the destination you choose.

After a study session, you can authenticate with Apple’s Game Center to report achievement progress. If you also enable leaderboard participation, the app sends weekly hint-free accuracy, monthly retention, and an achievement progress snapshot to Game Center. Scores and progress may be visible to other players or friends under your Game Center sharing settings. The app reads friend progress for comparison and caches it locally. Apple processes this information under its own privacy policy.

Optional reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They do not use a developer push server.

You can turn off notifications, iCloud backup, leaderboard participation, and anonymous usage stats in Settings. To stop Game Center use, sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings. Reset data in Danocado clears the local learning record; it does not delete iCloud backups, exported files, or Game Center records. Manage those copies separately in iCloud storage, Files, and Apple’s Game Center settings or support. Data remains until you delete it using these controls.
